As part of the Sister-city partnership program between the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly and Neu-Isenburg from Germany, the Assembly has handed over eight(8) proposed sites for the second phase of the solar panel installation for selected schools and Health facilities in the municipality.
The sites for the projects were handed over to Nyankonton Solar Energy Products Limited, the Contractor for the project on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th May 2025.
A team from the Assembly led by Mr Isaac Kyeremateng, the Municipal Planning Officer, Mr Evans Denkyira, the Municipal Engineer, Mrs Hanatu Sumaila, the Municipal Internal Auditor, Reps from Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service, Ms Sarah Asenso, the Municipal Procurement Officer, Mr Akwasi Nyarko Nuamah,Works Engineer, and Mr Kofi Karikari, Coordinator, Municipal Climate Partnership and also the FKKP Project Manager handed over the proposed sites to Nana Yaa Boatemaa from Nyankonton Solar Energy Products Limited.
The beneficiary institutions for the second phase include,Nwamase M/A JHS,Takyiman Health Centre,Takyiman Presby JHS,Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School, Apatrapa Health Centre,Apatrapa R/C JHS,Nyankyerenease Methodist JHS and Prempeh M/A Basic ‘B’.
