The First Ordinary meeting of the Second Session of the Third Assembly of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly previously adjourned was held on Wednesday, 6th July,2025,to address critical issues pertinent to the governance of the Assembly and other ongoing activities within the Municipality at the Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The General Assembly meeting was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon.Eric Asibey, the Presiding Member, Hon.Ernest Frimpong, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng, Hon.Assembly Members, Heads of Decentralized Departments and Units, some Heads of the various Security Agencies and some staff of the Assembly.
A significant highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Sessional Address and Executive Committee’s report by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.Eric Asibey.
The MCE’s address touched on critical areas such as Security,Education,Healthcare,Economic and Environmental Development,Water,Disaster Response,Revenue,Financial Report among others.
Following the presentation by the MCE,the sessional address and the Executive Committee’s report was thoroughly discussed with members providing insights and feedback on the findings and recommendations.
After an extensive deliberations on the MCE’s address and Executive Committee’s report, it was adopted as a working document for the Assembly.
Earlier before the commencement of the meeting,the Presiding Member introduced the two new Government Appointments who had been sworn-in after taking the Oath of Office and Secrecy administered by His Honour, Jephthah Appau at his office.
The two new appointees are Mr Collins Asante and Mr Emmanuel Tehoda.
They will replace the existing ones who have been reassigned to other roles.
