The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwadaso, Hon.Eric Asibey together with the Ashanti Regional Urban Roads Director, Mr Na-Em Iddrisu, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng and other officials, on Monday 4th August, 2025, conducted a joint inspection of abandoned and new road projects in some communities within the Kwadaso Municipality.
The joint inspection aims to take stock of all abandoned road projects in the municipality and ensure that contractors return to site to complete them.
The inspection was also to identify areas for new roads construction as part of efforts to improve the road Infrastructure in the municipality.
The team inspected several abandoned road projects including the Ohwimase area roads, Kwadaso North area roads,Tanoso-Techiman road, Apire -Nwamase road,Asorenkwanta -Hilltop road,Anwiankwanta -Pokukrom road, Kwadaso Container-Agyenim-Boateng road and Tanoso Market to Pokukrom road.
The inspection team also visited specific areas being targeted for new road construction. These areas include,Kwadaso area roads,Kokode area roads,Edwenase area roads,Ohwemase area roads,Nyankyerenease area roads,Apatrapa area roads.
The team again inspected the proposed construction of a 1No.Box Culvert at Apatrapa, construction of bridges at Tanoso near Ceci road and a street bridge at Apatrapa near the Church of Christ.
The Municipal Urban Roads Director,the Municipal Engineer,the Municipal Planning Officer,the Municipal Engineer,the Presiding Member of the Assembly,some Assembly members,the Municipal Information Officer,the Municipal Security liaison Officer and some officials from the Regional Urban Roads Directorate participated in the inspection tour.
