The Apatrapa Roman Catholic Primary ‘B’ School on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 held its maiden Graduation, Speech and Prize-Giving Day at the school premises.
The ceremony was held under the theme “Today’s Learners Climbing the Ladder of Success to become Tommorrow’s Leaders”.
The event witnessed the successful graduation of thirty one (31) students from lower Primary and about sixty (60) students from class 6 to Upper Primary and Junior High School (JHS) respectively.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwadaso, Hon.Eric Asibey, who was the Special Guest of Honour,advised parents to ensure that the education of their children becomes their topmost priority.
He appealed to parents to limit spending their money on funerals,dresses,shoes,bags and issues of less importance and rather invest in the education of their wards for a better tomorrow.
The MCE again called on parents to try and provide the basic needs of their wards to enhance teaching and learning in the schools.
Hon.Asibey then called on the children to be obedient to their parents and teachers and also urged them to be punctual in school.
The MCE reiterated his commitment to complete all ongoing and abandoned educational infrastructure before starting a new one.
Finally,he applauded the teachers for their good work and urged them to continue in that regard.
The MCE donated a cash amount of Three Thousand Ghana Cedis(Gh 3000) to support the event.
The school children thrilled the guests with some beautiful performances from adowa dance, choreography to poetry recitals and drama.
In attendance were the Headmistress of the school,Mad.Stella Anane Frimpong, Hon.Sarfo Kantanka, the Security Liason Officer, Mr Festus Lumor, the Research Director, the clergy, Nananom, past students, Parents and Teachers.
