The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has been awarded as the second-best out of 258 Metropolitan,Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) assessed in 2024 under the Public Financial Management Compliance League Table (PFMCLT).
The Assembly also emerged as the overall best Assembly out of the 43 MMDAs in the Ashanti Region for ensuring compliance with the PFM Act 2016. 
Among other reasons like deepening fiscal discipline, enhancing revenue mobilization, reducing financial leakages, the PFMCLT is also to ensure MMDAs and other public institutions comply with the PFM laws to improve accountability and transparency.
The Assembly was fully represented by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.Eric Asibey, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng, the Presiding Member, Hon.Ernest Frimpong and the Municipal Internal Auditor, Mrs Hanatu Sumaila at the awards ceremony which was held on Tuesday, 17th June 2025 at Erata Hotel in Accra.
As part of the award,the Assembly received a plaque and a laptop.
