The newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly, Hon.Eric Asibey, on Wednesday 21st May 2025,met with Executives of the various Transport Unions and Operators operating within the Kwadaso Municipality.
The meeting was part of the MCE’s familiarization agenda to meet all the relevant stakeholders of the Assembly after his assumption of Office.
Aside introducing himself to the transport operstors,the MCE used the opportunity to discuss measures to reduce vehicular traffic in the municipality especially Sofoline and the operations of the various Transport Unions.
The MCE in addressing the members also assured them of his willingness to ensure that the Sofoline highway is devoid of traffic congestion and appealed for the support of all the Transport Unions.
He also promised to see to the implementation of all the decisions and recommendations made at the meeting.
Present at the meeting were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.Eric Asibey, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng, the Presiding Member, Hon.Ernest Frimpong, the Transport Sub-Committee Convener, Hon.Richard Amaniampong, the Municipal Transport Officer,Mr Joseph Asiedu, some Heads of Departments and Executives of the various Transport Unions in the municipality.
