The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) For Kwadaso Municipal, Hon.Eric Asibey. officially assumed office today Monday 19th May, 2025.
A staff durbar was therefore held at the Assembly’s Conference Hall to officially introduce him to all staff of the Assembly.
The Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr Francis Adu Boateng, welcomed the new MCE and congratulated him on his appointment by the President and subsequent confirmation by the Hon. Assembly Members.
The MCD on behalf of the general staff pledged his readiness to support the MCE during his tenure of office.
In his inaugural address to the staff of the assembly, Hon. Eric Asibey, thanked the President, John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in him and entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the municipality.
He also thanked the Hon. Assembly Members for giving him a resounding victory during his confirmation election.
Hon. Asibey called for team work and unity from the staff and pledged to work collaboratively with them for the development of the municipality.
He stated that, he will not succumb to backbiting as well as false and bad reportage about fellow staff.
He said the established protocols in the service should be followed and does not expect officers to by-pass their Heads and MCD to report issues to him directly.
In attendance were the Presiding Member, Hon.Ernest Frimpong, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng, all Heads of Departments and units as well as staffs from the various departments and units.
