The Kwadaso Municipal Education Oversight Committee (MEOC) has on Wednesday 19th March 2025,held its first quarter committee meeting to discuss key issues affecting education within the Municipality at the Municipal Coordinating Director’s office.
The MEOC is a committee mandated to oversee and improve education within the Municipality focusing on areas such as the performance of schools in the municipality, infrastructural needs of the various schools in the municipality,teachers Welfare/training among others.
The committee among other very important issues discussed Sponsorship for the upcoming inter-schools science and maths quiz competition, mock examination for JHS three(3) students and the need for dormitories at the Agric – Nzema Senior High School.
Present at the meeting was the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu- Boateng, the Municipal Education Director, Mrs Grace Ofosu-Boateng, a Representative from GES,a rep from the Parent/Teacher Association, a rep. from Ghana Health Service, a rep. from the Traditional Council,Convener for Social Services Sub-committee, the kwadaso Chief Imam, and a rep. from the teaching and non teaching staff.
