The Budget Unit of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly on Friday 14th February, 2025 trained its revenue collectors at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The day’s training workshop was aimed at improving the collection of revenue in the municipality.
The presentation focused mainly on the distribution of bills, collection of property rates, business operating permits, good communication skills and work ethics of the revenue collectors.
Mr Maxwell Frimpong, a Budget Analyst and facilitator for the training workshop entreated the collectors to build a healthy working relationship with residents in the communities to ensure easy collection of revenue.
Mr Kwabena Adjei Dankwa,the Revenue Accountant, addressing the revenue collectors admonished them to always demonstrate a high level of integrity in the discharge of their duties.
He commended the collectors for their hardwork and dedication and promised to liase with management to provide the needed resources to facilitate the collection of revenue.
The Municipal Revenue Head, Mrs Jennifer Addo,on her part appealed to the collectors to take the training serious as it will help them acquire new skills that would assist them in collecting the revenue to meet the target set for the department.
Present at the training workshop were the Municipal Budget Analyst,Mr Joseph Osei Owusu, the Municipal Finance Officer,Mr Ernest Nsiah Acheampong,staff of the Revenue Department and staff of the Budget Unit.
