The 2024 Farmers’ Day Planning Committee of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has being inaugurated on Tuesday 22nd October, 2024, at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall to plan for this year’s Farmers’ Day Celebration.
The Committee Members met to discuss key preparations for the event scheduled to place on Friday 8th November, 2024, at the Nyankyerenease Methodist School Park under the theme “Building Climate-Resilient Agriculture for Sustainable Food Security”.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu Boateng is the chairman of the committee and its membership include, the Municipal Agric Director, the Municipal Finance Officer, the Heads of Works Department, the Planning Officer, the Municipal Environmental Health Officer, Senior Agric Officer, the Transport Officer, Assistant Director and the Assembly Member for Nyankyerenease.
The chairman appealed to members to work together for a successful event.
Sub-committees namely, Grounds, Refreshment, Publicity, Transport, Awards and Sponsorship were formed to start preparations.
