The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly’s Executive Committee(EXECO) on Thursday 3rd October, 2024, held its final meeting for the year at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The meeting among other very important issues was to consider the findings and recommendations from the various sub-committees as well as discuss the draft 2025 Fee-Fixing Resolution,Annual Action Plan, the Composite Budget and the Revenue Improvement Action Plan.
The Conveners of the various sub-committees of the Assembly including Justice & Security, Social Services,Finance & Administration,Development Planning, Works and Transport took turns to present their reports and recommendations to the Committee for consideration to the General Assembly for approval or rejection.
In a power point presentation, the Budget Unit led by Mr Joseph Osei-Owusu, the Municipal Budget Analyst and Mr Maxwell Frimpong, a Budget Analyst also presented the 2025 Composite Budget,Fee-Fixing Resolution, Annual Action Plan,Revenue Improvement Action Plan and the 2024 Conposite Budget performance to members of the committee.
In order to help the committee make informed decisions,the Officers were questioned to offer clarifications on their presentation after which it was agreed for onward submission to the General Assembly for final approval.
Present at the meeting were the Municipal Coordinating Director,Mr Francis Adu Boateng, Conveners of the various sub-committees and some selected Heads of Departments/Units.
The meeting was chaired on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive by Hon.Richard Amaniampong,Assembly member for Asuoyeboah North and Convener for the Transport Sub-committee.
