The Agric Directorate of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly with support from the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture under the Aquaculture for Food and Jobs has on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th September, 2024,trained 70 farmers and young individuals in modern aquaculture production techniques at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The two -day training was aimed at providing skills and knowledge to persons who want to start fish production and also offer them financial support to start.
R &B Farms,the facilitators of the training program took the participants through topics such as production, promotion,marketing,business sustainability among others.
Present at the training program were the Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Kwadaso,Professor Kingsley Nyarko, MCE,Hon.Richmond Agyenim-Boateng, the Presiding Member, Hon.Ernest Frimpong and the Municipal Agric Director, Mavis Agyeiwaa Yeboah.
