The Municipal Planning and Coordinating Unit of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 21st August 2024,organized a day’s training and presentation on the District Development Data Platform(DDDP) for all heads of decentralized departments at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The aim of the presentation was to provide insight into the requirements and contributions expected from each department and to equip the Heads with the needed knowledge to enhance their understanding on accessing the District Development Data Platform.
In his opening remarks,the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu Boateng entreated the Heads to take the presentation serious as the Assembly’s performance in this year’s DPAT hinges on it.
He then appealed to them to sundmit their reports on time to meet the DDDP deadline.
In a power point presentation, the facilitators of the training, Mr Isaac Kyeremateng, the Municipal Planning Officer and Mr Derick Adjei Osei, explained that,the DDDP is a web-based data capturing,monitoring and evaluation platform developed to monitor the performance of MMDAs in Ghana.
Mr Kyeremateng hinted that,the DDDP has now replaced the face to face DPAT assessment interaction.
They took the participants through the various requirements and technicalities in uploading data unto the DDDP such as uploading reports,minutes,pictures,generating sites coordinates and other related Information pertaining to each tracker.
The participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and engage the facilitators on areas they needed further clarifications.
Present at the session were the MCD,Heads of Departments and staff of the Planning Unit.
