KWADASO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS MID-YEAR STAKEHOLDERS REVIEW MEETING


The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly in pursuant to the Local Government Act 936 has organized a mid-year stakeholders review meeting on 30th July,2024,at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the Assembly’s 2024 Annual Action Plan and Annual Composite Budget.
It was also to assess the Assembly’s performance in the implementation of its programmes and projects for the first half of the year and make informed decisions going forward.
The MCD,Mr Francis Adu Boateng, welcomed members and stressed on the importance of the meeting .
He said it is imperative for the Assembly to collaborate with non-decentralized agencies in ensuring a coordinated approach to the socio-economic development of the Kwadaso Municipality.


The MCE,Hon.Richmond Agyenim-Boateng on his part called on all stakeholders to support the Assembly in order to fulfill it’s set developmental goals.
In a power point presentation, the Municipal Planning Officer, Mr Isaac Kyeremateng, highlighted on the programmes,projects and activities as well as policy decisions the Assembly was implementing.
He outlined the various developmental projects(both ongoing and completed)that the Assembly has carried out.
The Municipal Budget Analyst, Mr Joseph Osei-Owusu also explained to members the various revenue sources available to the Assembly that are used for it’s programmes, projects and activities.
There were presentations by heads of some non decentralized agencies such as the Nationa Health Insurance Scheme,Electricity Company of Ghana,Ghana Police Service among others.
Present at the meeting were the MCE,the MCD,Heads of Decentralized and Non-Decentralized Departments and some staff of the Assembly.
