The Environmental Health and Sanitation Department of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has on Thursday 6th June, 2024, met with stakeholders to assess the performance and proper hygiene practices by users and caretakers of the various public toilets in the Municipality.
The stakeholders also discussed measures to put in place in improving Sanitation and maintain good hygienic conditions in all the toilet facilities.
Some of the measures included fumigation, clearing of weeds and regular dislodging of septic tanks and toilet pits.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu Boateng, the Municipal Environmental health Officer, Mrs Genevieve Anthony, the Municipal Finance Officer, Mr Ernest Nsiah Acheampong, Assembly Member for Takyiman/Dechemuoso, Hon. David Asare, the Municipal Revenue Head and some staff of the Environmental department were all present.
