On Saturday 4th May 2024, a clean-up exercise was organized by the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly Environmental Health and Sanitation Department at Ohwemase near the taxi station as part of activities marking the commemoration of the 25th Anniversary celebration of His Royal Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu to promote a cleaner environment and inculcate the habit of cleanliness in the residents.
The clean-up exercise involved clearing of weeds, disilting of gutters, sweeping, gathering and disposing off refuse among others.
The volunteers were given gloves, brooms, rakes, cutlasses etc to ensure that the exercise was effectively done.
Present at the clean-up exercise were the MCE, Hon. Richmond Agyenim-Boateng, Hon. Assembly Member for the area, Dechemuoso Police Officers, Nananom, unit Committee Members, staff of the Environmental Health Department led by their head, Mrs Genevieve Antony and residents of the community.
