As part of the sister city partnership agreement between the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly and the city of Neu-Isenburg,Germany, the two cities have on Wednesday 24th April, 2024, launched and simultaneously planted a common tree(silk) to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change in the Kwadaso Municipality and its environs likewise the city of Neu-Isenburg.
The event held at the Assembly’s Conference Hall was aimed at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two cities and reaffirm each other’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
The event was graced by the MCE, Hon. Richmond Agyenim-Boateng, the Presiding Member, Hon. Ernest Frimpong, MCD, Mr Francis Adu Boateng, Mr Albert Osei-Wusu, Chairman, German Ghanaian Friendship Association, Mr Kofi Karikari, Coordinator, Climate Partnership Programme, Nananom, Heads of Departments, Assembly Members and Staff of the Assembly.
