The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has on Monday 22nd April, 2024 began the relocation of traders from the Kwadaso onion market to the new onion market at Atwima Takyiman.
The move is to help decongest the market as trading activities that take place on the shoulders of roads and pavements around the market pose danger not only to traders but commuters as well.
The relocation would also promote sanity on that stretch of the road and reduce accidents.
The municipal Engineer,the Municipal Planning officer, the NADMO Director together with staff from the works Department and NADMO were there for the relocation exercise which was supervised by the Police and the Millitary.
The exercise was generally peaceful.
