The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has on Thursday 18th April 2024, inaugurated the three(3) Zonal Councils within the Municipality at the Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The newly elected unit committee members together with their Assembly Members within the Zonal Councils were sworn into office by taking the Oath of Office and Secrecy administered by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Richmond Agyenim-Boateng.
The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly is made up of three (3) Zonal Councils namely; Asuoyeboah, Kwadaso and Nzema Zonal Councils.
The Asuoyeboah Zonal Council is made up of five(5) electoral areas which includes;Asuoyeboah North and South, Apatrapa New Site, Tanoso and Tanoso North electoral areas.
The Kwadaso Zonal Council is also made up of Apatrapa, Kwadaso, Nsiah Asare, Kwadaso North and Nyankyerenease electoral areas.
Edwenase, Nzema, Nwamase/Apire, Takyiman/Dechemuoso and Ohwimase electoral areas also make up the Nzema Zonal Council.
After the swearing in of the Unit Committee members, Chairpersons of the various Zonal Councils were elected.
Hon. Richard Amaniampong emerged as the Chairperson for the Asuoyeboah Zonal Council.
Hon. Richard Tutu and Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Darko were also elected as Chairpersons for Kwadaso and Nzema Zonal Councils respectively.
Present at the event were the MCE, Hon. Richmond Agyenim-Boateng, the MCD, Mr Francis Adu Boateng, the MFO, Mr Ernest Nsiah Acheampong, the Deputy Director, Mrs Margaret Ofosuhene, Mr Jesse Issachar, also a Deputy Director, Asembly and Unit Committee members, Heads of Departments and other Technocrats assigned to the various Zonal Councils.
Madam Rita Abena Pokuah, Asst. Director, Agnes Teiku, Asst. Director and Agnes Amoateng, also an Asst.Director, are the three administrators for the Asuoyeboah, Kwadaso and Nzema Zonal Councils respectively.
