The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah together with some members of the Regional Security Council(REGSEC) have on Monday 18th March, 2024, inspected progress of work at the new onion market situated at Atwima Takyiman.
The Minister’s visit was to enable him assess the level of work to have the project ready for the final relocation of traders of the Sofoline onion market.
He expressed satisfaction about the level of work by the Assembly.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Richmond Agyenim Boateng, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu Boateng, the municipal Engineer, Mr Evens Denkyira, the Municipal Planning Officer, Mr Isaac Kyeremateng,the Municipal Finance Officer, Mr Ernest Acheampong and the Assembly Member for Takyiman/Dechemuoso, Hon. David Asare were present during the Minister’s visit.
Members of the REGSEC team were from the Police Service, Military, NIB and other security heads in the region.
