KWADASO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY COMMEMORATES GHANA’s 67TH INDEPENDENCE DAY.

The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 6th March 2024, joined the rest of the country to celebrate Ghana’s 67th Independence Day Anniversary with parade of school children at the Prempeh College Park.
The parade was formed by students drawn from some selected Basic, Junior and Senior High Schools in the Kwadaso Municipality.
The Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Hon. Professor Kingsley Nyarko, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.Richmond Agyenim-Boateng and the Municipal Education Director, Mrs Grace Ofosu Boateng inspected the parade.
Awards ranging from sets of jerseys and footballs were presented to deserving Schools that excelled in the March past.

Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School cadet was adjudged the best performing school in the Senior High school category while Prempeh College Basic “B” and Demay Montessori were adjudged the best performing schools in the junior High school and primary category respectively.

In attendance at the Independence Day Celebration were the Presiding Member,Hon.Ernest Frimpong, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu Boateng and Nana Prof. Akwasi Anim Sarfo Kantanka, Anoo Stool Lands.
Also present were Municipal Security Heads,Assembly Members, Nananom, Heads of Departments/Units, Media, Staff of the Aseembly, Political party Reps, Imam, the Clergy and the general public.

The theme for this year’s celebration was “OUR DEMOCRACY, OUR PRIDE”.
