STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND SITE INSPECTION ON THE PROPOSED FOOTBRIDGES CONSTRUCTION

The Kwadaso Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Richmond Agyenim-Boateng together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Adu Boateng and some officials from the Regional Urban Roads Department as well as Janson Bridging, the firm responsible for the construction of the three footbridges on the Sofoline-Abuakwa highway on Thursday 11th January, 2024, embarked on a joint site inspection and stakeholders’meeting over the progress of work on the three footbridge. The three proposed footbridges to be constructed at a strategic pedestrian crossing points will be located at AAMUSTED, (close to the school entrance) Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS, (at the school entrance) and another one at Abuakwa market.


The Deputy Director of the Ashanti Regional Urban Roads Department,Mr Frank Osei Sekyere accompanied by Janson Bridging, the contractor for the project, Mrs Joyce Atakorah, Project Coordinator, Danny Mainoo, Project Facilitator and Mr. Martin Mensah, Deputy Project Manager took the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, the MCE and stakeholders through the architectural designs of the project.


After the inspection of the project sites,a stakeholders engagement meeting was held at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall to receive the progress reports of the various projects site from the contractors and consultants for the necessary corrections, clarifications and recommendations to be made.
