The Environmental Health Department of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly on Friday 24th November 2023, celebrated it’s World Toilet day at the Kwadaso Methodist Church of Ghana.
The day is set aside to create the needed awareness of how important it is to have access to this basic infrastructure need.
The Environmental Health officers and Officers from Social Welfare Department used the occasion to sensitized the general public on the need to build household toilets.
The officers again used the opportunity to inspect some household toilets in the Kwadaso Community and issued Abatement notices to houses that do not have toilet facilities.
Present at the event were the Municipal Environmental Health Officer, Mrs Genevieve Anthony, Nana Ama Sakyiwaa, Project Coach, GKMA, Monica Akorfu, Project Engineer, GKMA, Assembly Member for Kwadaso Hon.Ernest Frimpong and staff of the Environmental Health Department.
