KWADASO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY AND GHANA REVENUE AUTHORITY ORIENTS OVER 60 NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL.

The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly and the Ghana Revenue Authority have engaged the new batch of National Service Personnel on the new mode for collecting property rate on behalf of the Assembly.

 

The MCD, Mr Francis Adu Boateng, urged the new personnel to be hardworking and punctual and further urged them to uphold good work ethics and be submissive to their superiors.

 

Speaking at the programme, Mr Kwame Obeng Afranie,the GRA Technical Support Officer at the Assembly, informed the participants that,property rate collection which used to be done by the various Assemblies will now be collected by the GRA through a platform called myassembly.gov.gh

 

He hinted that property owners are now expected to register so as to be able to access their property rate bill and pay the required amount electronically.

Mr Obeng then educated the personnel on how to use the electronic means of registering and collecting property rates from rate payers.

 

The Human Resource Manager, Mrs Abigail Sam, on her part advised all personnel to be discipline and warned them not to dress anyhow to the office.

 

The Municipal Director of NSS, Mr Anthony Marfo, highlighted the benefits the personnel will derive from doing their National Service. He then urged them to be of good behaviour and work effectively at their various offices.

Also present at the function were Mr Ernest Nsiah Acheampong, the Municipal Finance officer, Mr Joseph Osei Owusu, the Municipal Chief Budget Analyst, Mrs Margaret Ofosuhene,Deputy Director, Mr Jesse Issacher,ADI,Agnes Owusu,ADIIA and Miliana Sam Darkwah, Asst.HR.
