The Social Welfare and Community Development Department of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Disability Federation have on Wednesday 8th November, 2023, trained persons living with disability(PWDs)in liquid soap,parazone and after wash making at the Edwenase Rehabilitation Center.

The purpose of the training was to build the capacities of the PWDs and make them economically viable to be self reliant.

The trainers,Linda Opoku Addai and Agnes Amponsah of Addaluvlyn Enterprise,took the participants through the various stages in making the liquid soap,parazone and after wash with the available ingredients such as salt,colour,water,perfume,thickner,softener,flakes and alcohol

A total of 20 persons(PWDs)would be trained for the two day program.

Present at the training program were Mrs Joyce Owusu,Social Development Director,Mr Nicholas Mensah,Kwadaso Municipal Chairman of the Ghana Federation of Disabilities,Hon.David Asare,Convener,Social Services Sub-Committee and staff of the Social Welfare and Community Development Department.
