As part of building the capacity of Environmental Health Officers ,City Security Guards and some selected HODs,a two-day in-service training has been organized on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th September 2023 by the Human Resources Unit of the Assembly for the officers.
The aim of the training workshop was to equip the officers with the requisite knowledge on Prosecution Procedures and Waste Management.
Practical training were made on the following ;
-writing of notices and summons
-writing of charge sheet
-study of Assembly bye-laws and National laws relating to sanitation
-court procedures.
Present at the training workshop was the MCD,Mr Francis Adu -Boateng,Assistant Director Margaret Ofosuhene,the Acting Human Resource Manager,Abigail Sam,the MEHO,Genevieve Antony,HODs,Staff of the Environmental Health Unit and City Guards of the assembly.
Mr John Yaw Donkor,the Regional Environmental Health Director was the facilitator for the training workshop.
