A management meeting of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly aimed at assessing the performance of the various Departments/Units for the first quarter of 2023 was held on Tuesday, 23rd May, 2023 at the Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Adu-Boateng, who chaired the meeting welcomed members to the meeting and encouraged them to discuss issues dispassionately for a successful deliberations.
He urged Heads of Departments/Units to ensure that staff adhere to the code of conduct of the civil service and advised the heads to query absentees and lateness.
The Municipal Coordinating Director encouraged staff to be at work by 8:00am and close at 5:00pm.
Speaking on Performance Appraisal Contract, Mr. Francis Adu-Boateng advised the HOD’s to appraise their staff on time and cautioned the heads against delays in submitting their appraisal forms to the Human Resource Department.
The Municipal Coordinating Director stressed on timely submission of reports and appealed to the heads to treat recommendations from the Internal Audit Unit with all the seriousness it deserves to avoid infractions.
The Municipal Coordinating Director charged the Heads to ensure effective supervision in their various Departments/Units and commended them for their cooperation since he assumed his position as the Municipal Coordinating Director.
The Heads of Departments/Units then took turns to present their first quarter reports for 2023, achievements of their Departments/Units and challenges facing them for discussion.
The Heads were questioned by members on their presentations for clarifications to enable members make informed decisions on issues under discussion.
Among the issues discussed at the meeting included; Agriculture, Health, Roads, Education, Infrastructural Projects and Sanitation.
