HON.DR KINGSLEY NYARKO DONATES I.C.T EQUIPMENT TO NYANKYERENEASE M/A JHS 

 

On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Hon.Dr Kingsley Nyarko handed over I.C.T equipment to the Nyankyerenease M/A JHS.

This gesture was borne out of his visit to the school some months back where the head of the school appealed to the Hon MP for the ICT lab to be equipped.

 

In a short ceremony held by the school to receive the donation consisting of 20 personal Computers, 1 Projector, 1 Plotter, 20 tables and 40 chairs were presented to the school.

 

This will buttress the Government’s vision dubbed “Girls in ICT” and their male counterparts in the school.

 

The Hon MP commended the former MP, who is the current minister for food and agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto for staring the building of the ICT lab. He also applauded the efforts of the school authorities, PTA, and all those who contributed in making the project a reality. The Hon MP has made sure the facility is functional which will benefit the children to be technologically advanced in this fast-paced global environment.

 

“ Let’s remain united to continue to build Kwadaso to be a safer place to live as I continue to push for Kwadaso to be one of the best if not the best constituency in the country”.

 

The Hon MP also revealed that he has secured a KG block and a 6-unit classroom block for Nyankyerenease basic school and another 6 unit block to be constructed at Takyiman basic school. He said the sod-cutting will be done very soon.

 

The ceremony was attended by Hon Richmond Agyenim Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) of Kwadaso,Mr John Amoako, Mr Silas Konadu Boateng, Mad. Janet Awuah,Mr Castro Kwame Nkrumah, Constituecy 2nd Vice, Secretary, women’s Organizer,Youth Organizer respectively, Hon Kwaku Gyasi, Presiding Member—KdMA, Hon Gifty Amoah—Assembly Member for Nyankyerenease electoral area, Hon Kofi Karikari—Assembly Member for Tanoso, people from the K4K and NPP fraternity and other well wishes.
